In her first major interview since becoming France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron says her husband’s only fault “is that he’s younger than me.”
The French President, 39, and his wife, 64, have been together since she was his high school drama coach. “If I hadn’t made that choice, my life would have passed me by,” she says in the September issue of Elle, which hit newsstands in Paris, Thursday morning.
“When I read things about our couple, I always have the feeling I’m reading someone else’s. Yet our story is so simple,” Macron continues.

A former Mrs. America was convicted of felony theft for switching price tags on clothes at a Macy’s department store in Southdale, Minnesota.
According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, a jury found Jennifer Susan Kline guilty of a single felony count of theft by swindle Tuesday evening after a seven-day trial. The jury determined that the amount of the theft was more than $1,000 but less than $5,000.
Kline’s attorney argued to the jury that his client made a dumb mistake but that it was Macy’s fault for having such an easy return policy.

Charles Brockman III, 17, posted the side-by-side photographs to his Twitter account as a tribute to his father, Charles Jr., who has walked or driven him to school virtually all of his life.
