Another ‘Game of Thrones’ Episode Hits Piracy Sites Before Premiere
HBO’s summer of cyber-woes continues: Episode six of “Game of Thrones” season seven has been leaked to internet piracy sites, four days ahead of Sunday’s premiere.
This time, it wasn’t hackers or rogue employees at a production facility: The “Game of Thrones” episode evidently leaked out after it was inadvertently published by HBO Nordic and HBO España services. According to HBO, the leak appears to have stemmed from a mistake by a third-party vendor in those territories.
Links to the leaked “Got” episode were posted to Reddit, with the copy shared via YouTube, Twitch and other streaming services. The Reddit posts were swiftly taken down. However, the segment has already been snatched and shared via torrent networks, according to U.K. newspaper the Independent, which reported that it verified the authenticity of what it said was an HD copy.
In a separate incident two weeks ago, the fourth episode of the current season of »

Mr. Mercedes Recap: Let's Play.
This week on At&T Audience Network’s Mr. Mercedes, the titular taunter reached out to his prey in an old school way, setting the stage for what portends to be a more continuous game of cat-and-mouse.
Presumably the night after he found a “smiley face” tennis ball on his lawn, Bill drowned himself in drink and the loop of a new video, in which Mr. Mercedes “modified,” in a ghastly way, a personal YouTube of his “new mom” victim. While lost in that grim fugue state, »
Stanley Kubrick Facts That’ll Make You Admire Him Even More
Kubrick has been lauded as one of the absolute greatest in terms of directing and has even been called one of the most innovative of all time. His pictures often produced a great amount of criticism but were always though-provoking and in some cases even confrontational. He didn’t always get along with his cast but as a director this seems to be the norm most times. What he did do however is attempt to make films that were bound to remain in the subconscious and remind people of the wonder of cinema now and again. He wasn’t perfect as a

Fox News Host Eboni K. Williams on Receiving Death Threats After Segment Criticizing Trump
The co-host addressed Trump on Monday in her “Eboni’s Docket” segment, which she writes herself, berating him for failing to specify white nationalist groups in his condemnation of the violence that occurred at Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend. She told Variety in an interview on Wednesday that her personal website, which usually receives an average of 10-15 emails after each segment, was inundated with over 150 emails, only three of which were anything other than “seething, scathing” takedowns.
“I should meet my maker soon, I shouldn’t be allowed to walk the streets of New York,” she cited as some examples of the type of comments she received. “They heard that I live in Harlem — Harlem needs to watch out.” Her book publisher became so concerned that he asked her »

Supernatural Crime Thriller Project Wins HBO Europe Award at Midpoint TV Launch Program
The Sarajevo Film Festival is proving fertile ground for TV projects thanks to the Midpoint TV Launch international script and development program, which on Wednesday culminated with the HBO Europe Award for “The Midnight Shift,” a supernatural crime thriller project.
The Midpoint TV Launch program began in November with seven projects in development, mostly from Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe. After three workshops over the past nine months, the initiative concluded in Sarajevo.
“The Midnight Shift,” a Cyprian-Greek-Maltese project, follows a small-time criminal cursed to be a modern version of the ancient mythical ferryman Charon, who transports the dead from this world to the next. In this incarnation, however, he is a taxi driver on the midnight shift rather than a boatman on the River Styx.
The first residential workshop took place in Slovakia, focusing on series concepts and pilot scripts. The second workshop, dedicated to the creation of the projects’ pitch books, took »

‘Gay of Thrones’: How Funny or Die Recaps ‘Game of Thrones’ in Less than 24 Hours Every Week
“Moulin Rouge” or “The Mighty Ducks”? That was one of the toughest decisions being made Sunday night at the Funny or Die offices in Los Angeles, where the cast and crew behind the “Game of Thrones” recap series “Gay of Thrones” had gathered, as they had for the past four weeks this summer, to watch the HBO blockbuster drama and (lovingly) tear it apart.
By 5 p.m. the following day, the latest installment was online — an awe-inspiring turnaround, given the Emmy-nominated series’s dense implementation of clips, visual jokes and actor-driven improv, cut down to a tight runtime that rarely exceeds five minutes.

5 Movie Character Pairs You Didn’t Realize were The Same
If you look at any given movie you might be able to divine that there are set formulas for many different movies to follow according to their genre. If you look a little closer you might even discover that there are a great many similarities between characters in different movies. This can lead a person to wonder if those characters are in fact the same people or are otherwise facsimiles of one another that are changed just enough for their particular film. In other words, it’s almost like a mold was made for certain types of characters and then the
