New Girl: J.B. Smoove Set to Play Winston's Father in Final Season
Indulge your enthusiasm, New Girl fans: Winston’s father has been found, and he looks a lot like actor-comedian J.B. Smoove.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the Curb Your Enthusiasm vet is set to play the estranged father of Lamorne Morris’ character in the Fox comedy’s upcoming seventh and final season. Not so coincidentally, the episode featuring the anticipated father-son reunion will be directed by Morris himself.

As longtime New Girl acolytes know, Winston’s father abandoned him at an early age; Nick’s dad essentially stepped in

Brit Marling is ‘Excited and Terrified’ By ‘The OA’ Season 2, Confirms Filming Begins in January
The road to “The OA” Season 2 just got a little smaller. The series’ co-creator and star Brit Marling has confirmed that the scripts for the new batch of episodes are finally finished after a lengthy screenwriting period that lasted through the summer and fall seasons. Marling confirms production begins in January.

The actress announced the news on Twitter, accompanied by a photo of herself in front of the eight scripts. It appears the first episode of the new season will be titled “Angel of Death” and the script cover includes an illustration of the Golden Gate Bridge, which more or less confirms the rumor that new episodes will be set in San Francisco. Marling says she’s “excited and terrified” by the “road map” of the new scripts.

‘Saturday Night Live’ Review: The Show Limps out of 2017 With Kevin Hart at the Helm

‘Saturday Night Live’ Review: The Show Limps out of 2017 With Kevin Hart at the Helm
It’s the last “Saturday Night Live” of 2017, and you’d think NBC’s perennial sketch show would go out with the bang. Getting Kevin Hart to host and the Foo Fighters as the musical guest is pretty much a case of busting out the big guns, after all.

Unfortunately, this episode of “Saturday Night Live” can barely be considered an extravaganza, and the holiday aspects of it aren’t even memorable or strong enough to use “it’s a holiday episode!” as an excuse.

Leslie Jones’ Omarosa Crashes ‘Saturday Night Live’ and Refuses to Leave Without a Fight

Leslie Jones’ Omarosa Crashes ‘Saturday Night Live’ and Refuses to Leave Without a Fight
Saturday Night Live” had its fun with Omarosa Manigault Newman during the Kevin Hart-hosted Christmas episode, having cast member Leslie Jones play the former director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in two different appearances throughout the night. The show’s point was hilariously clear: Omarosa isn’t going to leave the public spotlight without a fight.

Jones’ Omarosa first appeared in the opening night sketch, which featured Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump and Cecily Strong’s Melania hanging ornaments of Trump’s disgraced former staffers. Something was banging on the window outside the White House, and it turned out to be a very pissed off Omarosa.

10 Things You Didn’t Know about the Movie “Purple Rain”

Any person that was a diehard Prince fan likely thought that Purple Rain was a fitting tribute to a career that was considered to be one of the best in the business without fail. The movie goes on to show how The Kid is at first a cocky, headstrong, and very arrogant individual that seems to think he knows everything about what he wants to do and won’t work with anyone that’s not willing to see things his way. That kind of hubris is hard to deal with however and before long everyone is avoiding him and he’s lost just

NCIS: Los Angeles Review: A Time For Healing

NCIS: Los Angeles can only do Christmas one way, with a lot of laughs. I truly can’t tell what is more hilarious: Deeks and Kensi driving around town in Christmas-themed biker helmets, Nell and Hidoko wheeling a Palm Christmas Tree all around the office, or Callen sending an Evite. For all this laughter, there is a lot of reflection. This will be the first holiday season without Granger or Hetty. Per Mosley’s instructions, it must also be done without the tinsel. Now, I can understand not allowing holiday decorations in a workspace based on respect for nondenominational traditions and beliefs.

Five Things You Didn’t Know about Vice Ganda

Yes this is a man you’re looking at, and no that’s meant in any derogatory manner. I was convinced that Vice would turn out to be female or perhaps transgender or something. But nope, he’s one hundred percent male and openly homosexual in a very positive manner. Unfortunately that’s where the positive note ends since his comedy has a lot to do with making fun of people and their status in a very sarcastic manner. Americans have grown used to this type of humor and tend to let it go unless it’s directed at them, but in the Philippines Vice

TV Review: Fox’s ‘A Christmas Story Live!’ Brings Oscar & Tony Winners Benj Pasek And Justin Paul To TV Audience

Nothing says “Christmas Spirit” these days like the sight of a beaming, bespectacled tow-headed 9-year-old pointing his new rifle into the cold dark of night and pulling the trigger. Nothing, that is, unless it’s another vision, this one eye-poppingly aglitter, of a sexy, spangled schoolteacher-turned-hoofer sellin’ it, surrounded by a bevy of prepubescent girls in can-can regalia, also sellin’ it. Call me old fashioned, or politically correct or whatever you choose, but…
